How is it September already!?!? We are really feeling the loss of Summer here in Antwerp as the beginning of September brought us high temperatures in the mid 60's and rain! So much rain! We are hoping it will warm back up for a few weeks because we are not ready for this!
In other news, we finally got our official Belgian drivers licenses this week. No more lugging our passports around every time we get in the car! YAY! It was quite the operation consisting of three appointments, 1. To hand in our U.S. licenses so they could validate them through the U.S. authorities. Luckily they let us do this rather than taking a new driving test! 2. To give them our money and officially apply for the license AND 3. Another appointment to pick up the actual license. All of that only took us 6 weeks...
This weekend we did not have any grand adventures because.... FOOTBALL SEASON STARTED! We have a friend here who gets many of the U.S. sports stations so we got to watch the first half of the Tennessee game yesterday! We didn't make it through the whole game because of the time difference, but it was awesome to get to watch some. Sunday, Molly made the first adventure to the movie theater where movies are in English and subtitled in both French and Dutch. The seats are super comfy and the popcorn is WAY cheaper. Tyler played a mean game of ping pong and had his Fantasy Football draft. And we totally failed on pictures this week :(
