In early May, we had our first visitors of the year, Dad and Sue! It was their first trip to Belgium since we moved, and it was great to have them. Dad came to us fresh off a two week trip to Italy with many stories to tell. They were in town for a week and were able to enjoy Antwerp as well as a few other Belgian cities. They learned to navigate the tram and train system very well and made a trip to Ghent for the day. On the weekend, we all made a visit to Brugge. It was the most beautiful weather that we have ever had in Brugge, which was exciting. We took them to our favorite Antwerp restaurants, and Dad got pretty adventurous and had a meal of kangaroo one night and the following night tried rabbit! We were very glad to get to spend a week with them and happy they were able to experience Belgium!
